BSc Hons Physiotherapy MCSP HCPC

I have 20 years of experience as a Physiotherapist working both for the NHS and in private practice.  My area of specialty is Pelvic Health and general physiotherapy.  Pelvic health covers conditions such as pregnancy related lower back pain, incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse to name a few. General or musculoskeletal physiotherapy covers common injuries including back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain and any aches and pain of the bony or musclular system.  I treat patients of all ages.

I have practiced in the field of musculoskeletal and sports injuries for my whole career, which has included treating professional athletes.

I have undertaken specialist training in Women's Health physiotherapy to be able to help patients suffering with these conditions. In 2013 I set up a Women's Health service at a large physiotherapy clinic in South-East London.

I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and a member of the professional network; Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) and a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Since having two children, I have become even more passionate about my role in making sure women know where to find the right help and advice for problems that are too often assumed to be "normal' after having a baby.

In my spare time I love to go running, explore the outdoors and to go skiing in winter. I have personal experience of returning to sport after having a baby and can relate to my patients experiencing problems in pregnancy and afterwards.
